As the Board Chair at JOIN, I am thrilled to announce that Katrina Holland will be leading JOIN’s work as Executive Director starting February 18.
After conducting an extensive national search, Katrina’s experience and commitment to housing justice was unmatched. Katrina works arm in arm with grassroots advocates, local, and state leaders to protect our neighbors’ right to safe and stable housing.
Since 2014, Katrina served at Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT). At CAT, Katrina supported significant organizational budget growth, program, and staff development. She worked steadfast with coalition partners to pass historic, consequential housing policy that has increased our state’s commitment to stable housing for Oregonians and monumental investments in affordable housing development.
Katrina is a strategic housing advocate, an expert in tenant rights and homelessness prevention, and a proven leader in non-profit organizational management. Katrina brings compassion and a strong commitment to addressing the needs of our neighbors living in poverty and experiencing homelessness.
Founded in 1992, JOIN has supported the efforts of more than 12,000 individuals and families experiencing homelessness to transition into permanent housing.
Our work is more urgent than ever as housing costs increase and wages remain stagnant – resulting in more of our neighbors being forced into homelessness.
With your support, Katrina’s leadership, and JOIN’s dedicated staff, we will continue to provide critical services to our neighbors experiencing homelessness while advocating for policies that protect and increase housing opportunity.
